History and Architecture:

The first Minister was Mr Horatio Ellermann who presided over an evening church service on 14 January 1858. Formerly of Antwerp and North Melbourne. Rev Robert Hogg was the first Minister to take regular services in the Horsham area and these first services were conducted at the Court House and local School house.*

By 1866 church services were held on the 1st, 2nd and 3rd Sundays of each month as well as Wednesday evenings. These were also shared around several farms in the area. Attendances ranged from between 40 and 50 people.*
