History and Architecture:
Formerly a Methodist church. The Foundation stone was laid by Reverend John W. Rowse President of the Victorian and Tasmanian Conference on 26 March 1930. The architect was A.S. Eggleston and the builder was R. Mould.

Organ:
The Organ was built by J.E. Dodd of Adelaide in 1898, for the Primitive Methodist Church, Wellington Square, North Adelaide. It had 2 manuals, 13 speaking stops, 4 couplers, mechanical action. Installed in 1930 in present location. Rebuilt in 1975 by George Fincham & Sons of Melbourne (new mechanical action) 2 manuals, 13 speaking stops, 3 couplers, mechanical action.
